Join Sally for a rejuvenating and enlightening yoga and meditation Sunset Retreat for the Soul in stunning Santorini, one of the most beautiful and magical Greek islands! We will be staying at the lovely, historical resort Aethrio Sunset Village Resort in the heart of the picturesque town of Oia with its whitewashed, cliffside cave homes, blue domed buildings, stunning sunsets and gorgeous views over the turquoise Aegean Sea during our daily yoga and meditation practices on the sunset terrace.

The morning yoga classes will be vinyasa flow yoga for all levels, linking movement with the breath for an energizing yet relaxing flow. With creative and balanced sequences, strengthening and lengthening, detoxing and pranayama, you will experience a strong, safe and supportive practice. Modifications and options will be provided for different abilities. You'll have the opportunity to play with some backbends, arm balances, and inversions if you choose, and cool down with some deep stretches to restore the body and mind.
The evening classes will be yin or restorative yoga, with longer held seated and supine postures, stretching, lengthening, releasing tension and creating more space in deeper layers of connective tissues in the body. Yin yoga is also a perfect opportunity to journey inwards and practice meditation. All levels are welcome as we provide options and modifications so everyone feels comfortable.

Aethrio Sunset Village Hotel hosts many yoga and wellness retreats and is the perfect, charming location for us to relax and recharge. In the heart of the famous and luxurious village of Oia, it's just a few minutes walk to local sights, shops and restaurants, whilst also offers a calm, quiet and secluded space for yoga, meditation, watching the sunset from the Sunset Terrace, relaxing by the pool and enjoying incredible vistas over the Aegean Sea. Note that the town of Oia is on a hill and there are staircases at the hotel and some steps around the town of Oia. The hotel porter can assist with luggage as needed.
Just 18 kilometers from the Santorini airport (JTR), the hotel is easily accessible by car or bus. Many international flights will have a layover in Athens (ATH) on the way to Santorini.

The schedule below is tentative only and subject to changes. The final schedule will be shared with all participants a few weeks prior.
Passport and travel insurance documents, yoga mat and optional props (block, strap, blanket, bolster), comfortable clothes for yoga, comfortable shoes for walking/hiking, water bottle, bathing suit, beach towel, sun lotion, sun hat, sunglasses, camera, cash for tips.
Note: Dogs and other pets are not permitted. The only animals that are allowed are certified service animals, accompanied by a person with a disability.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, designed with Cycladic style and furniture. Some rooms have private or semi-private balcony or terrace and small kitchenettes. All rooms include private bathroom, towels, basic toiletries, hair dryer, linens, A/C and satellite TV.
Studio Rooms - include a bedroom, private bathroom, kitchenette with a fridge, and a terrace or balcony with pool or courtyard views.
Apartments - include a bedroom, private bathroom, seating area with a sofa, kitchenette with a fridge, and a terrace or balcony with pool, village, or courtyard views.
Superior Rooms - include either a separate spacious bedroom with a living room or a spacious open loft bedroom, marble tiles, private bathroom, small fridge, and a balcony or terrace with sea, pool, or village views.

All participants must be 18 or over.
A $500 deposit is required to secure your spot or you may pay in full. The balance is due 90 days prior to the retreat. You will receive reminder emails a few days prior to your balance due date. If the retreat is less than 90 days from the date of registration, the full amount is required.
Rooms with shared beds are for friends or family members signing up together and booking the whole room. If you are traveling solo and would like to be matched up with other travelers of the same sex in a shared room, you are welcome to register for your preferred room type with the agreement that you may need to upgrade if we are unable to fill the room with others closer to the retreat date, subject to availability at that time. If you would like to share a room with a friend who is booking separately please mention their name on your registration form.
