Class Descriptions


Vinyasa Flow

Linking movement with the breath, flowing through creative and balanced sequences, strengthening, lengthening, detoxing and breathing, you will experience a strong, safe and supportive practice. Modifications and options will be provided for different abilities. Blending sun salutations, standing postures, backbends, forward bends, arm balances, inversions, deep stretches, pranayama and meditation, you will experience an energizing yet relaxing class, available for everyone.

Yin and Restorative

Yin and Restorative Yoga classes are slow, safe and gentle and are available for all abilities, with a focus on lengthening, stretching and releasing tension, through deep seated and supine postures. Holding each Yin posture for a few minutes, this grounding, relaxing and restorative practice provides the perfect opportunity to draw the awareness inwards, quiet the mind, and practice slow deep breathing, meditation and letting go. Modifications and options are provided for different abilities.

Iron Yoga

Holding power yoga postures and using light to moderate weight dumbbells for upper body strength training, Iron Yoga is a strong, challenging yet mindful practice that will help you to build lean muscle mass, tone your body physically, whilst practicing mindful awareness of the breath and body. Connecting mind with breath, muscle, movement and static peak contraction, Iron Yoga is available for everyone, with options and modifications provided for varying abilities. Meditation

Our guided meditations will guide you through a variety of themes, related to calming the mind, cultivating inner peace, being present in the moment, letting go of the past, releasing stress, and many other mindfulness and meditation techniques. They are wonderful to listen to if you are struggling to stay focused or motivated with your own silent meditation practice. Meditation can help reduce stress, improve overall health and wellbeing, and create inner peace and joy, and discover our true nature.

Sally Mitchell Yoga Teacher

Sally is an inspiring and grounded teacher and has been teaching yoga since 2010. Her passion is to share with others the practices that have helped her in her own life, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Her teaching style is strong, supportive and safe, integrating movement, alignment, breath and stillness, for a mindful and balanced practice. Available for all levels, Sally provides options and modifications for varying abilities.

Growing up in Scotland, Sally has been an athlete since childhood, always loving movement and fascinated by the human body, the power of the subconscious mind and the mysteries of the universe. She is grateful to have the opportunity to inspire others to live a healthier and happier life and awaken to their inner self and true nature. Sally now lives in Sonoma, California and leads Body Flows Retreats in California, Colorado, Arizona, Mexico, Hawaii, Costa Rica and other stunning locations. Read more about Sally.
