Nourish your body and mind in nature at the natural and intimate Zen style Tipi Village in Oregon with outdoor yoga (on brand new outdoor yoga deck in nature), meditation, sound healing, hot tub, wholesome gourmet healthy meals, nearby natural swimming hole, and an opportunity to slow down. The perfect place to truly relax, rejuvenate, meditate, connect with nature and journey inwards. Meet like-minded yogis and friends and take time for your own self-care, reflection and renewal.

With its stunning coastline, beaches, waterfalls, Crater Lake National Park, Mt Hood National Forest, Tualatin Wine Region and the city of Portland, there is so much to explore in Oregon.

We'll be retreat'ing and connecting with nature at a unique and secluded retreat center in nature, and sleeping in gorgeous, comfortable Zen-style Tipis (with beds, linens and furnishings!), taking glamping to the next level. A limited number of cabins are also available if you prefer a little indoor comfort.

The yoga classes will be mostly Vinyasa Flow Yoga for all levels, linking movement with the breath for an energizing yet relaxing flow. With creative and balanced sequences, strengthening and lengthening, detoxing and pranayama, you will experience a strong, safe and supportive practice. Modifications and options will be provided for different abilities. You'll have the opportunity to play with some backbends, arm balances, and inversions if you choose, and cool down with some deep stretches to restore the body and mind. There will be one Yin Yoga class during the retreat, and each class will include pranayama and powerful guided meditations.

The retreat will be held at the unique, charming and secluded Tipi Village Retreat in Marcola, Oregon, just 30 mins drive from Eugene and 2 hours drive from Portland.

Tipi Village Retreat is a natural haven away from the ordinary, in the midst of the lush nature of Oregon. Located in the Mohawk Valley near Eugene in Oregon, Tipi Village Retreat is a secluded woodland setting in nature, with friendly hosts and hospitality, zen-style Tipi tents, a healing natural energy, wholesome gourmet healthy meals, a creek running through the property, hot tub, and an opportunity to slow down. The perfect place to truly relax, rejuvenate, meditate and journey inwards.

The closest airports are Eugene, 30 mins drive, and Portland, 1.5 hours drive from Tipi Village. Airport shuttles are available from Eugene airport and Uber/Lyft are also readily avaliable. Driving directions will be provided a few weeks prior to arrival.

Sally is an inspiring teacher and healer, sharing with others the practices that have helped her to heal her own body and discover a path of transformation and greater self awareness.

Growing up in Scotland, Sally has been an athlete since childhood, always loving movement and fascinated by the human body, the power of the mind and the greater Universe. She is grateful to have the opportunity to inspire others to live a healthier and happier life and awaken to their inner desires and purpose, through the gifts of yoga, meditation, reflection, mindful movement, massage, energy healing and essential oils.

What To Bring

Please bring: Yoga mat, comfortable and loose fitting clothes for yoga, meaningful item(s) for altar during yoga practices such as healing crystal or spiritual symbol, outdoor shoes for walking around the property, water bottle, flashlight (although there are lights on the paths around the property and inside the Tipis), bathing suit for hot tub, sun lotion and sun hat, warm and waterproof jacket or sweater for cool evenings or wet weather. Optional items: eye mask or small hand towel to cover eyes during meditations, bolster or blanket for yoga, cash tip for your massage therapist, optional hair dryer if you wish as there are none provided.

Will be Provided: Yoga mats, blocks and straps will be provided, although you may bring your own if you wish. Shampoo, conditioner and soap are provided in the bathrooms.

Not Permitted: Dogs and other pets are not permitted on the property. The only animals that are allowed are certified service animals, accompanied by a person with a disability.

Accommodations

There are 7 stunning Tipis, furnished in a Zen style, with beautiful stone floors with rugs, warm and comfortable beds with down comforters and wool blankets for the cool Oregon summer nights. For a more traditional sleeping experience, there are a limited number of indoor rooms available. All tipis and rooms have access to a centrally located bath house with two full bathrooms. The indoor Master Bedroom Suite and Studio have their own private bathrooms. There are plenty of blankets in the Tipis for extra warmth during cooler nights. Each Tipi and room has power outlets for lights and devices.

Cost and Sign Up

All prices are per person.

All participants must be 21 or over.

A $250 deposit is required to secure your spot or you may pay in full. The balance is due 2 months prior to the retreat. You will be notified a few days prior to the balance due date, with a link to make payment online. If the retreat is less than 2 months from the date of registration, the full amount is required.

If you are attending with a friend or partner, you may register together or separately. If you register separately, please mention your friend's name on the registration form that is on the second page of the booking system checkout system. If you are traveling alone, you may still sign up for shared accommodation if you wish and we will match you up with other traveler roommate(s) of the same sex. Please note that all shared accommodation are female only unless you are signing up with friends or as a couple and booking the whole room, or signing up for single occupancy.

The Double Occupancy option in a shared bed is only available for friends or partners traveling together.

Massage Sign Up: 60 min massage or Reiki sessions may be booked at the time of registration or up until 7 days prior to the retreat, subject to availability. All sessions will be scheduled on Saturday between 12.30pm and 3.30pm. We will attempt to schedule you at the same time as your friend(s) if you have signed up with friend(s), however it's not guaranteed as it's a tight schedule. The final massage schedule will be provided at checkin.
