We are thrilled to offer you and your family or friends a private yoga retreat in Sonoma Wine Country, California, with socially distaced outdoor yoga classes, guided meditations, opening and closing circles, led hikes or trail runs, and other wellness workshops if you choose. You may customize the schedule according to your group's wishes and goals!
Partnering with wonderful Sonoma hotels and lodgings of varying budgets, you will have the opportunity to relax, rejuvenate and renew in a beautiful setting in nature whilst also close to historic Sonoma plaza with boutique shops, cafes and wine tasting rooms.
The yoga classes will be taught by Sally Mitchell, the founder of Body Flows. Sally is qualified to teach Vinyasa Flow Yoga for all levels, linking movement with the breath for an energizing yet relaxing flow, Yin and Restorative Yoga for a more relaxing and meditative practice, and Iron Yoga with light dumbbell weights for a strong and mindful workout. Sally's style is strong, supportive and safe. You'll move through creative and balanced sequences, strengthening, lengthening, detoxing and relaxing. Modifications and options will be provided for different abilities. We will work with you to customize the classes for your group.

COVID-19 Practices: We are currently permitted to host up to 10 people in a yoga class outdoors in Sonoma county, so our private yoga retreats are maximum 10 people. Hotels and lodgings are not permitted to take group bookings so participants must book rooms directly with the chosen hotel or lodging. We will provide hotel and lodging options and recommendations based on your budget and based on our partner hotels and lodgings who are open to outdoor yoga classes being held on property. Meals must also be coordinated separately by the group.

Sally is an inspiring and grounded teacher and has been teaching yoga since 2010. Her passion is to share with others the practices that have helped her in her own life, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Her teaching style is strong, supportive and safe, integrating movement, alignment, breath and stillness, for a mindful and balanced practice. Available for all levels, Sally provides options and modifications for varying abilities.
Growing up in Scotland, Sally has been an athlete since childhood, always loving movement and fascinated by the human body, the power of the subconscious mind and the mysteries of the universe. She is grateful to have the opportunity to inspire others to live a healthier and happier life and awaken to their inner self and true nature.
