Weekend Yoga Retreat with Hot Springs and Wine Tasting!
Yoga, Hot Springs & Wine Tasting!
At Wilbur Hot Springs, California
April 3-5, 2020
with Sally Mitchell (Yoga Teacher, Massage Therapist and Integrative Health Coach)

Recharge and renew with yoga, guided meditations, healing mineral hot springs, hiking and nature, or optional trail running, mindful labyrinth walks, homemade cuisine made with local, organic and seasonal produce, and delicious local wines.

We are so grateful to be retreating to the remote Wilbur Hot Springs, just 2-3 hours drive north of San Francisco. Nourish your body, mind and soul and join us for a weekend of digital detox in nature. Wilbur is truly a sanctuary of healing and our intention is to create space for you to reflect, connect and completely relax.

Soak in the natural and healing hot mineral springs, nourish your body, connect with your self and nature, deepen your yoga and meditation practice, relax and rejuvenate, and meet other like-minded yogis!

The yoga classes will be mostly Vinyasa Flow, linking movement with the breath, moving your body through both power and restorative poses, available for all levels. The classes will be theme-based, creative and balanced and will incorporate pranayama (breathing), strengthening, stretching, detoxing, energizing, and meditation. You will experience a safe and nurturing practice, leaving you feeling relaxed yet energized. There will be one Yin class during the retreat. We will practice on a beautiful outdoor covered yoga deck, close to nature.

We look forward to meeting you!

Client Testimonial: "I was nervous to attend Body Flows Retreat by myself, but that anxiousness disappeared as soon as I entered our opening yoga class. Sally is warm, inviting and sincerely interested to get to know every member of the retreat. I could not have asked for a more supportive, funny, and inspiring group of women to share this weekend retreat with! The yoga was cleansing for the body, the hot springs were a perfect ending each night, and the guided meditation was soothing for the mind. The wine tastings were a fun addition to this 'girls weekend' and such a treat! Sally is so knowledgeable and open about all things yoga, meditation, and wellbeing. I attended this retreat searching for affirmations in my own life, and I left feeling more complete, calm, and confident. Could not have asked for a better weekend! Thank you Body Flows!" - Jackie, March 2018

Note: The baths at Wilbur Hot Springs are 'clothing optional'. Our group will not have exclusive use of the resort so there will be members of the public using the baths and on property during our stay. We will have our own private dining room, outdoor deck and kitchen for meals, and our group will have private use of the yoga deck during our classes and workshops.

Client Testimonial: "Every part of the retreat was perfect. Timing for yoga and meals was perfect. The digital detox was very important and amazing to me - not only as I not using tech, but everyone else around me as well. The optional hike (or everything else) was great, so no pressure to attend and relax as I chose to sunbath longer. The meals were fantastic. Very clean and organic and healthy, absolutely LOVED it. Closing circle was a great wrap up, to incorporate yoga into every day life, which is more important than doing poses and attending classes. It was very touching for me to share in a safe and open environment. It was overall very cleansing of the mind and body, and I've gained a lot of positive energy and reminders of life in general. Highly recommend, will definitely have to do retreats with Sally again." - Shirley, May 2018

"Sally comes with a wealth of yoga knowledge and experience that she shares in a comfortable and supportive way. Her classes were deep, insightful, nourishing, and energizing." - Angela B

Wilbur's geothermal water contains three ounces of dissolved minerals per gallon and is entirely undiluted, untreated, and unheated, which is rare in North America. The average temperatures are 98, 105 and 109 degrees Fahrenheit. The minerals in the waters have positive therapeutic effects on skin diseases, asthma, neuralgia, arteriosclerosis, rheumatism and shoulder, neck, and wrist pains, pain relief, and depression, as well as detoxifying and mucolytic effects. The minerals present are sulfure, silica, metaboric acid and the most unique element of the geothermal water is lithium, which promotes a deeper state of relaxation.
